Oh my gosh, I don't even know where to start!  Made for mermaids just released 6 new patterns and 4 of them are swim!  The other two will work perfectly for gauze!  Now, unfortunately, I only had time to test one of them so I'll explain and show you the Mama Alexandria first.  I LOVE THIS SUIT!   It's actually a one-piece suit with a faux wrap or tie wrap option.  You can also choose from an optional flounce and 3 different strap options.   It's fully lined with sewn in cup and elastic shelf bra options as well! I didn't use my Rockerbye...

Hooray!!  We are so close to the official start of summer I can taste it!   My kids love to be outside and love the water.   I love when they are outside- that's less time they are bothering me inside.... kidding.... kind of.   What I don't love is the sunblock game.  We use the super natural blah blah blah kids kind and they are always really thick and sticky and trying to chase down my kids to get it on is always super fun.  Plus that's another bath or two when I'm already giving two a day from the dirt!  Insert...

This week I bring you a company feature is very special to my heart.   Brindille and Twig Pattern Company is essentially how I learned to sew clothing.  I actually started off sewing cloth diapers and then, of course, wanted to move into upcycling clothing.   Someone recommended Brindille and Twig as a great place to start and I was hooked!   The patterns are very easy to follow, have great instructions, and are of course adorable!  They even have videos for techniques that really helped me as a beginner.  Even now after sewing for years B&T is a go-to for me when sewing for my kiddos. ...

Baby Blanket, DIY, Gauze, Gauze Blanket, Satin Binding, Satin Bound Blanket, Sewing -

Real talk- I never thought I'd actually use Satin binding on a blanket because, quite frankly, that sounds worse than going to the dentist.   Then my littlest, Emerson, attached to a tiny lovey one he had.   So of course with all of Ambers amazing prints on double gauze, I knew it had to be done.  To my very happy surprise, it's actually way easier than I thought!! I figured I'd share a little tutorial.  I'm not an expert by any means but my kid loves them and everyone who has gotten one as a gift does too!  Supplies-   Double Gauze,  Pre-made...
