The Perfect Baby Combo!

The Perfect Baby Combo!

Is there anything cuter than seeing a sweet squishy baby in Rockerbye?? I personally don't think so, whether it's my baby or a gift for a friend.  Babies in Rockerbye are basically the best.   I'm super excited to share with you two new baby patterns that are perfect for all our Rockerbye! The New Made for Mermaids Baby Tai Leotard and Top and Baby Betsy Bloomers and just to die for!  They are the cutest alone or paired together.

Let's chat about Besty.  This little bloomer pattern is the perfect combo between bloomers and bummies.  It's designed for knit or swim fabrics and is loaded with options.  The sizing runs newborn to 18-24 months.  Besty is the perfect diaper cover for under dresses or tunics, over leos or with tops, or even as swim! You can choose between a paper bag waist or regular waist,  bum ruffles, and leg ruffles, and the legs can be finished with bands or elastic. They are great gender-neutral shorties too in the basic bands option.  You can see some sweet little boys in the listing photos.  I recommend using a fabric with some structure so like CL but really any knit will work!  It also has a few adorable hacks. I made this cute little paper bag waist with the bow belt hack and leg bands out of Rockerbye galaxy DBP and it's just the sweetest!

Here are a few other examples I made of non-Rockerbye to inspire you for your Rockerbye!

Now on to Baby Tai.  It's the perfect adorable leotard for babies!  We all know how shirts are not the best for that small baby stage the way they just pull up every time you grab them (although it does come with a top option) the Leo is by far my favorite.  It comes in newborn to 18-24 month size as well and is packed with options.   There's your basic Leo, tutu length skirted Leo, mini length skirted Leo, and top.  For necklines you can choose between scoop or low back and sleeves are long, 3/4, short, flutter, or tank.   Everything can be finished with bands or elastic which is fantastic and of course, it has a snap placket option for easy diaper changes.

I'm in love with this llama Rockerbye bodysuit- obviously, it's adorable alone because it shows off those thighs but it's perfect for under shorts or a cute skirt!!  I used bands and the scoop neck for hers.  Plus... that belly!!

Here are a few more examples (non-Rockerbye) for inspo!! I can't wait to make a skirted one out of the new Halloween pre-order!!

So much cuteness!!!  Both these patterns are on new release sale until Monday 6/29 so scoop them up for a discount while you can. They can be purchased as a bundle or separately. I really can't wait for squishy little Rockerbye Babies in these.  Don't forget to share in our group!

Happy Sewing and Rocking!
