Since adding woven to our pre-orders I've been on the hunt for all the most adorable woven patterns I can find. I just got my reprint pre-order full of Rockerbye Woven prints in the mail and knew exactly what I was sewing first! I've been dying to sew up this pattern for years now and finally got the chance!
The Striped Swallow Designs Canyon Bib and Bloomers is seriously the cutest little pattern for hot summer days!! The pattern includes both the bib top and the bloomers and goes from Newborn Sizing to 2T. The bib includes two different length options for if you'd like to use a long trim or a short trim. There is also a cute trim option for the bloomers! The best part?? It shows off allll those delicious baby rolls. It's perfect for hot days especially with drooly babies because it keeps them cool but catches all that drool rather than just leaving a naked baby soaking wet! Plus cuteness factor is so much more than a standard bib. It perfect for an outfit for show or honestly- I plan on making a few backed with some PUL for actual bibs to wear during meal times! It can also be worn over clothing for another look style.
As we know- Sutton is extra rolly so it's intended to fit a little more snug but I had to tie it a little looser as her tummy kept pushing it up! Still so stinking cute. I love those back ties! It's absolutely adorable on walking babies too as you can see from the examples on the website. I definitely plan on making a few for her next Summer too.
Just one more awesome pattern for the new woven base! If you haven't tried it yet you are in luck- there is still some retail available up for grabs here! It's listed in the drop down of each print. I used the Rainbow Watercolor Splatter which it looks like there is still some available so grab it while you can! I can't wait to see all the cute little baby bellies dressed up in Rockerbye!
Striped Swallow Designs has offered us a free copy of the pattern to give away!! Hooray!! Enter the Rafflecopter below for your chance to win!
