Sew all the Rockerbye Rompers!

Sew all the Rockerbye Rompers!

Is there really anything better than cute chubby baby legs in a romper?? Or cute little toddlers running around in adorable ruffle bums?  I'm going to take one for the team and say no- there isn't anything cuter. ;)  So with the addition of woven fabric to the new Pre Order  I wanted to feature a super fun and cute romper pattern for you all.  Introducing Little Lizard King's Bellevue Romper.

Ruffles, Ruffles and more Ruffles!! This adorable romper is loaded with options and the sizing runs from newborn to 4 years old. (Love the look but your kiddo is older? Well, you can grab the Bellevue dress for older kiddos!)  The Bellevue has the sweetest little flutter sleeve that goes from the front bib all the way around the back.  You can choose between a single flutter or double flutter. I did a double flutter for a pop of contrast!  There are optional bum ruffles, which of course I had to do but you can leave them off for a quicker sew.   For the back closure, the smaller sizes have multiple button holes for growing room and sizes 12+ have the most adorable tie back option.  The pattern also includes a super easy to do snap placket for easy diaper changes (yes please!).

It honestly comes together pretty quick and easy although I would consider it a more intermediate pattern.  If you are a beginner definitely still give it a go it just might take a little longer but those little ruffles are soooo worth it!!  Little Lizard King also has a super fun printable coloring page so your kids can color their own Bellevue to match the one you make them or vice versa!

For the bodice of mine, I used the new paint splatter cord and all the ruffles are the striped splatter and seriously these colors are stunning!  They are both parts of the per order open right now here.   I can't wait to get some black and white cords and make a few monochrome rompers!  Little Lizard King has generously offered us 20% off the Bellevue Romper!  Use the code LLKROCKERBYE from now until May 3rd at checkout.   I can't wait to see all your sews and make sure you share in our group and the LLK facebook group

Don't forget your pre-orders, the round closes on 5/12!

Happy Sewing and Rocking,

Michelle

P.S.   The adorable headband is the free Made for Mermaids Trixie Headband  and is probably my favorite woven headband pattern I've found!
