Rockerbye for Mama with Made for Mermaids!

Rockerbye for Mama with Made for Mermaids!

Oooh I'm so excited to bring you these new patterns!!  I know most of us use our precious Rockerbye Fabrics for our kiddos and while yes they deserve them- so do we!  "Selfish" sews are not really selfish at all,  it's so important to take time for yourself.  You deserve some of your creativity and some pampering.   It's so vital as mommas to make sure we give ourselves some love too.  I know for me, when I feel good and excited about something I've made for myself, it makes me better in all walks of life!  Now on to the patterns!

Today I'm bringing you Made for Mermaids Mama Vicki and Mama Bree.  These are the casual version of the Bridgette and Victoria I brought you a few months ago and are oh so comfy!

First up the Mama Bree-  A Crop, Tank, and Cami all in one pattern!   Filled with tons of options including a basic tank with shelf bra option. or a lace racerback top.   It's perfect for everyday wear or layering.  I know the lace can seem intimidating but don't be scared! It actually comes together way easier than you'd think!  When choosing your size always go by measurement chart and grade if needed.   The type of fabric you use will affect the look and support a bit too.   I used DBP Glaxay stripes for my lace racerback version and it's like wearing a cloud!   For the basic tank, I used a Custom CL and felt secure and supported but still comfortable.

Now, who doesn't want matching Underwear??   My mom always said to make sure your bra and panties matched in case you were in an accident and emergency workers had to take your clothes off- a little dramatic but she always matched and now you can too with Mama Vicki Hipsters! These are quick and comfortable with 3 different rises available- low, mid, and high.    It's a semi-full coverage (a little cheek) and can be finished with bands or elastic such as picot, lingerie, or FOE.  The pattern pieces are self-lining as well so only two pattern pieces.  Overall a super cute and quick pattern.   My galaxy stripes are Mid rise DBP and the avocados are low rise CL.  Fabric will affect the amount of coverage as well    Feel free to make them your own- the next pair I'm planning will have lace for the waistband and knit for the legs, really the world is yours!  You can even use all lace fabric for a sexier vibe!

Patterns will be on sale with a bundle option to save even more through Tuesday 6/19 at Midnight CST so hurry and grab them here while you can!   If you are wanting to do the lace back option I'd recommend lace from Surge or Boho Fabrics. You can also find lingerie and picot elastic there too!   I can't wait to see what you all make with your Rockerbye!  Don't forget to share on the page!

Happy Sewing and Rocking,

Michelle
