Good morning my loves - Yesterday George Floyd’s murderer was declared guilty on all charges. It was a powerful step in the right direction but there is still so much work to be done. At the same time that the jury was deliberating yesterday, a 15 year old Black girl named Ma’Khia Bryant was shot and killed by police. Not one day. Not even one hour of reprieve. The change needed in this country is far too much to list in this post but to help, we can start within ourselves. Acknowledge our privledges and prejudices. Support Black businesses, donate to Black causes, read Black authors, create with Black artists. We can make this world a better place for all within it. I’ll put some links in the comments for donations and if you are a Black owned business or creative please drop your links and tags below.
