A Rockerbye Rainbow

A Rockerbye Rainbow

So- you know when you find a pattern that just screams "Use your precious Rockerbye for me!!!"  It doesn't happen often but let me tell you- the patterns I'm sharing today were made for Rockerbye!! Not literally but you get the point.   I'm talking about the new Max and Meena Rainbow Falls Hoodie and Rainbow Falls Dress.  Absolutely fun whimsical patterns packed with options that as you may have already guessed- mimics a rainbow! The best part about it- not a rainbow fan?? No problem- depending on your fabric choices it just makes for cool color blocking too! Now, let's dive right in.

First I want to go over the Rainbow Falls Dress.  Here's the Max and Meena graphic showing all of the options included!

I love how you can use it to make an actual rainbow inspiration or just for adorable coordinates.  We all know Rockerbye has the best coordinates.   For Sutton's I used tiny watercolor stripes and paired it with Rockerbye solid white since it's such a strong print already I really wanted the rainbow to pop! I then used colorful thread for my topstitching to make the different blocks pop.  It turned out oh so cute!! Perfectly little rainbow after the rain.

I'm loving Amber's version with a print that may just be popping up next pre-order ;)

Is your little not a dress wearer??  No fear!  Rainbow Falls Hoodie to the rescue!

Just look at all those options!!  What I love about this is you can get really creative with your options by either sticking with alternating two prints or really go for it and use different prints for all the rainbows and main!  It's the perfect gender neutral pattern.

Danielle who own's HomeSewn Couture made this epic version out of RBD coordinates and I'm swooning!

Here's another version with some RBD from Amber that is so much fun!

Now for the fun part!  The patterns are on sale for only $6 until ___ but wait! There's more!  When you purchase one of them you'll get the dolly pattern for free just by adding it to your cart!  Wohoo!  What are you waiting for??

Okay- I actually have some more good news- feeling a little blue this isn't in adult size?? Well, word on the street an adult version will be coming shortly so get those fabrics ready! Look at the lovely August in this sneak peek!

Happy Sewing and Rocking!
